2nd Annual Buckets, Blues & Brews
A great time was had by all!
 The Coeur d'Alene Arts and Culture Alliance presented the 2nd Annual Buckets, Blues & Brews fundraiser on Friday, July 17th. The barbeque, catered by Greenbriar, was excellent, and the "Culprits" kept everyone entertained with great music. Total profits to the participating organizations totaled more than $3,300! Thanks to everyone who attended and to all of our wonderful non-profits who helped make this a huge success! Stay tuned for next year! |

Raechelle's Farewell
Raechelle Clark has been the Manager of the Alliance for the past year, and she has been incredibly valuable to the success of our organization. Please join all of us in wishing her the best of everything in her new ventures. Thank you, Raechelle, for all of your contributions!

Summer Concerts in Riverstone Park
 Our Summer Concerts in Riverstone Park are back for 2009! Mark your calendars for each Thursday from July 9th - August 27th. Concerts are from 6:00 - 7:30pm and are free and open to the public! Enjoy free parking, free music, refreshments and lots of fun for the whole family!

Artwalk 2009 August 14
 The Coeur d'Alene Arts and Culture Alliance is excited to bring back Artwalk! Join us Friday, August 14th in beautiful Downtown Coeur d'Alene and every 2nd Friday from now through December. Stroll through participating galleries and restaurants while enjoying fine art. August's featured gallery is Coeur d'Alene Galleries. Featured businesses will have extended hours and 2 hour parking is free! Come experience the works of local artists and enjoy our beautiful downtown. Click here for more information. |

Art From the Heart October 8th - 17th
 Art from the Heart is a community-wide celebration of the arts. Ranging from dance workshops to free concerts, Art from the Heart brings awareness to our community about the wonderful opportunities for involvement in the arts. Art on the Green
Join us on July 31st - August 2nd, 2009 on the beautiful campus of North Idaho college for the 41st annual Art on the Green event. Come experience 135-plus artists, a variety of performers and over 500 volunteers as they come together to present this anticipated summer event. Browse handcrafted works in glass, clay, leather, wood, metal and fiber directly from the artists.In addition, there will be hands-on-art sections for both children and adults with instructions included. The event will also be complete with various food selections- old favorites and new addditons! Mark your calendars and join the celebration of art that Art on the Green has to offer. Shuttle buses between the festival and downtown Coeur d'Alene are free!

Summer Theatre Presents Miss Saigon
 The Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre will be presenting "Miss Saigon" playing from August 8th-22nd. The musical will have nine showings and is the last of the four plays that will be performed this summer. Be sure to get your tickets to see this popular musical by clicking here! At the Old Church in Post Falls, the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center is a non-profit historic site dedicated to promoting the Arts and Community. It is a beautiful venue, available for a variety of community functions such as weddings, concerts, lectures and plays. The upstairs gallery features the work of outstanding regional and nationally known artists.
From cooking classes to fine art displays, the Jacklin Center is a center of activity for our community. Don't miss out on Jazz at the JACC or any of the other fabulous opportunities they offer to celebrate the arts!
